Who we are
Since 1980, Special Operations Warrior Foundation has honored the sacrifice of America’s heroes by standing with their families. Our “enduring promise” is to provide “cradle to career” educational support for the children of fallen Special Operators, children of active-duty Special Operators whose spouse has passed, and all Medal of Honor Recipients. We also deliver immediate financial assistance to severely wounded, injured, and ill active-duty Special Operators. Guided by this mission, we ensure these families are never left behind.

Why we do it
Behind every brave Warrior is a family that serves, too. When a Special Operator sacrifices their life, carries a legacy of courage, or lives forever changed by wounds or illness, their loved ones bear that weight. Such sacrifice should never be met with silence or forgotten promises. By standing with these families—through education, support, and opportunity—we honor their service with hope and a future their sacrifice made possible. Promise made – promise kept.
