Named Scholarships

Your contribution to a student’s educational journey can be pledged over one or more years, ensuring their path to graduation is supported. Named scholarships can be established in the name of an individual, family, foundation, or business. SOWF will facilitate communication and updates from the student(s) on an annual basis.

Named scholarships are incredibly valuable to SOWF’s scholarship program and enable donors to establish a philanthropic legacy with the foundation.

impact partnerships

Team effort defines impact partnerships with SOWF. Much more than just a check, SOWF collaborates with impact partners to create communications that demonstrate mutual impact. From videos and social media posts to testimonials and engagement with employees, impact partnerships are a holistic opportunity to support SOWF students and demonstrate the power of your corporate social responsibility. Event Sponsorships

SOWF is the beneficiary of several events per year throughout the country, including golf outings, dinners, and more. SOWF also hosts two dinners per year. In addition, SOWF has launched virtual events and campaigns that reach dozens to thousands of participants.

Businesses can also support our students as sponsors of SOWF program offerings, such as preschool or tutoring.

Monthly Giving

Monthly gifts are both affordable and invaluable contributions helping to ensure that every student has continuity in their education. Tutoring and other educational expenses can recur on a monthly, quarterly, or semester basis.

DIY & Virtual Fundraising

SOWF is incredibly grateful for individuals, families, friends, and companies who help raise funds on our behalf. There are many opportunities for you to make a huge difference in the lives of our Special Operations Warrior families. Ideas for DIY and virtual fundraising include, but are not limited to:

Virtual runs/walks/rucks

Saluting the American flag for ___ hours

Completing an exercise or endurance challenge

Virtual food and wine tastings

SOWF will provide DIY and Virtual Fundraisers with our logo, verbiage about our foundation, and a free online fundraising page you can share on social media and use to secure donations.

Planned Giving

There are many other ways you can offer your support for the families of our fallen special operations forces, such as arranging a gift from your estate, donating stocks or leaving a bequest in your will. Some of these options provide considerable tax benefits for you, while also supporting the children we’ve pledged to care for and educate. Your options:

Eagle Claw Society

Special Operations Warrior Foundation appreciates those supporters who have arranged a planned gift for the Foundation. Since many of these gifts will not be received by the Foundation until the donors pass away, we created the Eagle Claw Society to recognize and show thanks to these remarkable individuals during their lifetime.
