Programs for Students with Disabilities
SOWF supports educational programs specifically designed for children with disabilities who cannot participate in, or attend, other educational programs offered by SOWF.
Additionally, SOWF offers for students with disabilities:
- Tools, support and advocacy
- Funding for testing, not covered through insurance, to confirm a diagnosis
- Access to fully funded specialized tutoring from certified education teachers
- Funding for alternative options for students who may not be able to attend a traditional college setting
Did you know?
Special Operations Warrior Foundation is currently supporting 12 students with disabilities with resources to aid their personal and academic growth. Resources include tutors that specialize in learning disabilities, occupational therapy, audio text books, and adult day programs.
