Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures complete post-secondary educational support and additional educational opportunities “cradle to career,” for eligible surviving children of fallen Special Operations Personnel and children of all Medal of Honor Recipients; and provides immediate financial assistance to severely wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Personnel — today and in the future.
Over 1,200 Special Operations Warriors have lost their lives since 1980.
Expanded eligibility to include active-duty Special Operations Personnel who have lost a spouse.
We provide immediate financial assistance to severely wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Warriors requiring hospitalization.
There are over 1,600 surviving children of fallen Special Operations Warriors since 1980.
We are currently committed to funding the education for over 1,000 children of fallen Special Operations Warriors and children of all Medal of Honor Recipients.
Over 475 children have graduated college through the support of SOWF funding and dedicated partnership with the Scholarship & Family Outreach team.
Ahead of Memorial Day weekend, “Yellowstone” actor Cole Hauser shares his own story of service and working with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to children of fallen Special Operations Personnel.
