Colonel Shawn Brady, USAF, Retired
Shawn retired from the USAF in 2016 at the grade of Colonel after a 21-year career. He is currently an Executive Director of Business Development for Sawdey Solution Services and has been with this family-owned business since 2016. He has over 30 years of Special Operations and Corporate experience with leadership and program management success spanning Large Defense Company, unit, major command, Headquarters Air Force, and Office of Secretary of Defense levels.
Shawn’s areas of expertise include revenue generation, strategic capture and proposal development for competitive defense contracts, Irregular Warfare, Security Cooperation, and theater contingency operations. He’s a combat proven veteran with 757 combat hours operating AC-130U, U-28A, and C-141B Special Operations aircraft.
He and his wife Casandra are both graduates of the University of Central Florida, were raised in Palm Bay and Orlando, FL respectively, and currently reside in Apollo Beach, FL. Shawn also has master’s degrees in Human Resource Development from Webster University and National Security Studies from Air War College. Casandra is a full-time middle school teacher for Hillsborough County and they have two sons (Connor and Ian) that have graduated college.
