Robert Halder
Rob Halder joined NatAlliance Securities in 2016 and currently serves as the Head of Special Situations and Investment Banking at the firm. He began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. working in the Leveraged Finance and High Yield Capital Markets groups and has led the fixed income department at Clearview Trading Advisors and Tejas Securities Group. Rob has held additional management positions at multiple financial services and insurance firms, namely NatAlliance, his present company, Westech Capital Corp., Tejas Securities Group, Inc. and Trenwick America LLC.
Rob’s expertise features analyzing, advising, and participating in some of the largest in-court and out-of-court restructurings for corporate, municipal and structured bonds including Enron, Lehman Brothers, United Airlines, Puerto Rico and the City of Detroit. Rob has also served as Chairman, Member, and Advisor to numerous official and ad hoc equity and creditor committees.
A graduate of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Rob holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 50, 63, 66, 86 and 87 licenses.
