LTG (R) E. John Deedrick

Lt. General John Deedrick is the founder of E. John Deedrick Jr. and Associates LLC, a consulting and advisory firm that focuses on problem-solving at the strategic and operational level by improving management and governance, building teams, and ultimately developing pathways forward to increase productivity and success in the corporate, academic, non-profit, and government sectors.

John retired from the United States Army after 35 years of distinguished military service as an Infantry and Special Forces Officer.  John commanded units at nearly every level and commanded Army and Joint Forces during multiple combat tours in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. 

Lt. General Deedrick’s military experience has given him a global perspective.  John has served as the Military Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict, as a Planner at the United States Special Operations Command and Special Operations Command Pacific. As a General Officer, he commanded Special Operations Command – Korea, Combined Special Operations Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan and culminated his career as the United States Military Representative to the NATO Military Committee in Brussels, Belgium where he represented the US military position on all aspects of Military advice and policy to NATO.

John is a Distinguished Alumni of The Citadel and holds a Master of Science in Management from Central Michigan University and a Master of Art in Strategic Studies from the Air War College.  He has also completed the Executive Leadership Program from Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
