Colonel Chris Kirk

Chris is an active-duty Army Colonel retiring from the military in June 2024. A graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1998, Chris has served in many leadership and management positions over the course of his 25-year career to include command of a 750-person special operations aviation battalion. His background includes assignments at Joint Special Operations Command, United States Army Special Operations Command, United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Night Stalkers) among several conventional assignments in 1st Infantry Division, 3rd Infantry Division, and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Chris has Masters Degrees from the U.S. Naval War College and U.S. Air War College, has accumulated over 2,500 flight hours (half of which in combat), and has deployed to numerous combat zones or operations for over 1,200 days during his career. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his amazing wife, Brandy, and three wonderful, intelligent, and athletically-active children – Wyatt (hockey), Alaina (volleyball), and Ella (gymnastics).
