Ben Slater
Ben is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Highlander Partners, a multibillion-dollar private investment group based in Dallas, TX. In this capacity, he oversees investment operations and works closely with portfolio company management teams. He is a member of the firm’s management and investment committees.
Ben is the Chairman of several Highlander portfolio companies, including DZYNE Technologies, a leading technology developer and manufacturer of Group I-V UAS platforms and advanced counter-UAS solutions purpose-built to meet the needs of warfighters and critical infrastructure providers around the globe. DZYNE is proud to support U.S. and allied military partners, including SOCOM, and supports operations in over 15 countries.
Originally from New Orleans, Ben attended the University of Virginia and Columbia University. He lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
