Special Operators are deployed in over 80 countries every day.
When a Special Operator (or support personnel) is severely wounded, ill or injured resulting in being hospitalized, SOWF immediately sends a check to the service member (or his/her designated recipient)
so the family and loved ones can be at their bedside.
These funds are used to reduce the burden of unexpected expenses such as airfare, child care, pet care, rental cars, etc.
Additionally, SOWF sends the hospitalized service member an Echo Show to facilitate video calls with friends and family.
SOWF also sends an additional stipend, on a case-by-case basis, to severely wounded, ill, or injured warriors who are hospitalized for an extended period of time.
