SOWF Student and High School Football Star, Harry Soltes

At Special Operations Warrior Foundation, we love sharing the successes of our students! Check out what high school football coach, Thomas Ricci, had to say about student-athlete, Harry Soltes. Harry is the son of MAJ Charles Soltes who lost his life in 2004 while assigned to the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion.

“I am delighted to have this opportunity to write on the behalf of Harry Soltes. From my vantage point, as one of Harry’s coaches, I have been able to observe his social behavior and work skills as a student and as a student-athlete.

It has been my observation that Harry likes to challenge himself in every aspect of his life.  He is currently enrolled in advanced placement classes and is maintaining straight A’s.

Harry also works hard outside of the classroom as a member of the Irvine High School football team where he made First Team All-League, is a 2-year letterman, and helped lead the team to a 10-0 season!

It is my pleasure to tout what a fantastic young man Harry has turned out to be. We are looking forward to seeing what he will do in his final year of high school, on and off the field!”
