We are excited to announce the launch of a new partnership program “Kforce to Careers” with the following focus areas: Mentoring, Internships and Career Placement.
SOWF and Kforce, a premier national staffing agency, are teaming up to provide mentorships and college to career opportunities for SOWF students. Working in tandem with the SOWF Scholarships and Family Outreach Team, Kforce will assign seasoned representatives to provide mentoring to college juniors and seniors seeking internships and future professional positions in a variety of industries. We thank Kforce for their expert guidance and look forward to working together side-by-side.
Last month during EPIC, our annual week-long educational planning conference, 21 of our high school students had the opportunity to hear Kforce Chief of Staff, Doug Rich, present on the trends happening in careers as we have ventured into the “work-from-home” movement. A very sincere thank you to Doug for talking in depth about how to stand out in a stack full of resumes. Kforce is a special corporate partner and they are making it their duty to help with career placement after graduation for our kids.
