We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professional Bull Riders Inc (PBR) along with SOWF board member, Cole Hauser, who introduced us to PBR, for the opportunity to partner for a series of events and activities during PBR’s 30th Anniversary Celebration week (May 13 – 20) in Fort Worth, Texas. On May 17, COL (Ret) Sean Corrigan, SOWF’s Executive V.P., had the privilege to accept a significant contribution during the Dirty 30 Party at Billy Bob’s at the Stockyards.
PBR produced a full night of incredible entertainment opening with Dirty 30 host, Larry the Cable Guy, followed by country music stars Ryan Bingham and Chris Janson, who headlined. Additional appearances were made by Bryce Leatherwood, Annie Bosko, and Dee Jay Silver.
In addition to top entertainment, spectacular food was offered by Tim Love, a renowned Texas chef known as much for his vibrant personality as his signature urban Western cuisine. Also participating in the overall festivities were PBR Founders, PBR Heroes & Legends, and Flint Rasmussen, the official entertainer of PBR since 2006 who announced his retirement at the end of the 2023 season.
From the Sunshine State, where SOWF is based, to our friends from PBR we gathered within the Lone Star State during your 30th Anniversary Celebration, thank you for an amazing week – your hospitality was off the charts.
To Sean, Chris, Stephanie, Kacie and your entire welcoming PBR staff, your efforts on our behalf, and generosity, will make a significant impact on the surviving children, surviving spouses and families we serve. SOWF is much obliged that you believe in what we do and why.
