The fourth annual Heart Mountain Challenge, presented by Black Rifle Coffee Company, was held over the weekend of June 25 and 26 on Heart Mountain, near Cody, Wyoming.
This two-day precision rifle shooting competition benefiting SOWF provided competitive shooters with an opportunity to showcase their skills on two separate, extremely difficult courses. Over 150 skilled participants, ranging in age and up to 70 years old (active-duty Special Operations, law enforcement, and civilians) from across the United States faced challenging distances in a variety of weather and mountainous terrain, all to raise awareness and funds for SOWF.
SOWF extends our sincerest appreciation to hosts Jim and Ginger Dager and logistics specialist, Peter Kneip, for planning and implementing the weekend activities and ensuring all involved felt at home on the range.
