During the Callaway Warrior Club Fitting at the TOUR Championship, Callaway presented a check for $50k to Special Operations Warrior Foundation, one of Birdies for the Brave‘s 11 official military home front groups. The Foundation supports America’s Armed Forces by ensuring full financial assistance for post-secondary education to the surviving children of Special Operations personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty and provides immediate financial grants to severely combat-wounded and hospitalized Special Operations personnel and their families.
Accepting the check on behalf of Special Operations Warrior Foundation was MG Clayton Hutmacher, President and CEO of SOWF. “Getting to witness all that Birdies for the Brave and Callaway are doing for our veterans and military families has been incredible. On behalf of the families we serve, Special Operations Warrior Foundation is honored by and grateful for their support.”
Callaway Sales Rep, Casey Smith, presenting to SOWF, is personally invested in the cause, coming from a military family and having witnessed sacrifice himself. Casey remarks, “Callaway is honored to support Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the deserving families of fallen and wounded special operations. Supporting the military and gold star families is a cause close to my heart and I hope to continue this partnership between Callaway and SOWF.”
