Breaks Records in Dallas!
The energy was electric at the Omni Dallas Hotel on Saturday, October 25th, as supporters from across the country gathered for Join Forces: Texas Style — benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests and sponsors — led by Title Sponsor Transamerica — the event raised a record amount in support of SOWF’s mission to educate the children of fallen Special Operations Personnel, their deceased spouses, and all Medal of Honor Recipients.
Pat Riley, legendary coach and executive, delivered a powerful keynote on leadership, inspiring the crowd with stories and lessons from his unparalleled career. Catherine Herridge, Emmy-award-winning journalist, served as Master of Ceremonies, guiding the evening with her signature grace and insight.
The program also featured a heartfelt address from Ginger Gilbert Ravella, a Gold Star spouse, who shared the heroic story of her husband, Troy, whose selfless actions saved the lives of many Special Operators on the day he was killed. She spoke of the support SOWF has given to her and Troy’s three children through their educational journey. Her words were a touching reminder of the lasting impact of SOWF’s mission.
Derek Stoner provided lively entertainment that kept spirits high throughout the night, and guests — including Jill Wagner, star of Lioness, and her husband David Lemanowicz — joined the 340 attendees in celebrating SOWF’s enduring promise to our nation’s Warriors and their families.
