Spotlight on upcoming signature events

This fall, Special Operations Warrior Foundation is honored to host two of our premier gatherings—opportunities to celebrate our mission, honor our families, and unite supporters in powerful ways.

Get ready for a truly unforgettable evening in Dallas as we bring together friends, families, and champions of SOWF at Join Forces – Texas Style. This signature event combines Texas flair with heartfelt purpose, featuring engaging speakers, moving stories from the families we serve, and special guests who embody our mission of honoring sacrifice and educating hope. Guests will enjoy an evening of camaraderie, inspiration, and philanthropy—all in support of cradle-to-career education for the children of fallen Special Operations Warriors and Medal of Honor Recipients.

A highlight of our Live Auction includes an extremely rare piece of American history, a Peter Force printing of the Declaration of Independence.  This ‘Force Declaration’ was made under the commission of President John Quincy Adams (who was Secretary of State at the time of commission) to preserve the original copy of the Declaration of Independence.  By using a Wet-Ink transfer process, Peter Force wetted the original document to create a copper plate for copying, transferring some of the original ink of the Declaration of Independence onto the commissioned copies. More details about this extremely rare document for auction can be found here

Just a few weeks later, we’ll gather in the heart of the Special Operations community for the A Night to Honor – Families of Fallen Special Operations Personnel at the Destin – Fort Walton Beach Convention Center. This annual tradition brings together military leaders, community partners, and supporters from across the country to pay tribute to America’s Special Operations Warriors, Medal of Honor Recipients, and their families. Guests will hear directly from a student whose life has been transformed by SOWF’s “enduring promise”, while sharing an evening of reflection and gratitude.

Why these evenings matter

Both events shine a spotlight on the extraordinary families we serve and offer a chance for supporters to come together in solidarity. Every ticket purchased, every story shared, and every hand extended makes an impact on the lives of the children and families who carry forward the legacy of our nation’s heroes.

We hope you’ll join us at one or both of these powerful evenings as we continue to stand together in support of our mission.
