Viktor Ula
Mr. Ula is Director at Invus Financial Advisors, LLC (IFA), a SEC registered investment advisor. He is a member of the Hedge Fund Investment Group where his duties include performing the research and due diligence (investments and operations) with regard to sourcing, recommending, and overseeing global hedge fund investments totaling approximately two billion US dollars.
Before to joining IFA, he founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of PivotalPath, Inc., a hedge fund intelligence organization delivering actionable information to institution al investors on a SaaS platform. Prior to PivotalPath, Mr. Ula was Head of Hedge Funds for Omega Capital S.L., the Madrid based family office of Alicia Koplowitz. He was responsible for establishing the London based asset management subsidiary, Omega Asset Management Ltd. and served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Previously, Mr. Ula was a Director of HVB Alternatives in London and Vice President of LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. In each of these positions, he served on the investment committee. He began his hedge fund investing career under the mentorship of Leslie Lake at Invus Group in 1997 and rejoins her team two decades later.
In addition to his financial services career, Mr. Ula served as political advisor to the Prime Minister of Kosovo during the Kosovo Status Talks, which subsequently led to Kosovo’s declaration of independence on February 17, 2008. A decade earlier, he was a Department of Defense contractor assigned to 10th Special Forces Group during the Kosovo War where he was awarded the G2 Commendation Medal from U.S. Army V Corps.
Mr. Ula received his B.S. in Economics with Mathematical Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned a M.A. in International Relations from Yale University. Mr. Ula is Series 65 licensed.
