Army Sergeant Major (Ret) Zac Whitt
Zac Whitt is a retired Army Sergeant Major with 20 years of service in Special Operations. During this time, he worked with the Nation’s best across numerous deployments to the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, Afghanistan, Africa, and Europe. Zac’s career spanned multiple conflicts and focused primarily on counterterrorism, working from the tactical to the strategic levels.
Recently retired in 2024, Zac and his family have relocated from NC to the Annapolis, MD area as he transitions to a job in the consulting industry. Zac holds an MBA from Duke University, and a BS in finance from West Virginia University.
Zac is happily married to his wife, Meghan, an attorney in the defense/security space and they have two young children together. Throughout Zac’s career, he and Meghan have personally seen the tremendous care provided by SOWF to the families of fallen teammates and believe strongly in furthering this mission.
