Larry is a retired Infantry Officer who spent numerous tours in the Rangers and Special Operations Community. He has extensive combat experience deploying over three different decades to combat zones around the world including Operation Urgent Fury, Grenada; Operation Gothic Serpent, Mogadishu, Somalia; and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Larry’s leadership and mentorship in the Ranger community was highlighted with his selection into the US Army Ranger Hall of Fame in 2017. He has spoken both national and international locations about Leadership with numerous universities, colleges, and professional forums.

Since retiring from the Army, he has served as a program manager and director for several Defense businesses and served on the Board of Directors for two non-profits that directly support the 75th Ranger Regiment warfighters and families.

He lives in Southern Virginia with his wife, two daughters, and chocolate lab Mosby. An avid golfer, he plays often with his youngest daughter and is also a golf coach at Nansemond Suffolk Academy.
