Special Operations Warrior Foundation’s Scholarship and Family Outreach Team is dedicated to serving the families of fallen special operations personnel.
Preschool- SOWF provides funding for accredited early childhood education programs (from ages 3-5) including preschool and prekindergarten programs; up to $8,000.
Private Tutoring- SOWF provides fully funded professional, private tutoring for students from kindergarten through college graduation anywhere in the country. Whether the child is having trouble learning to read, or struggling in acing their AP exams to get into their dream college, private, one on one tutoring and educational services are provided at no cost to the student.
Academic Counseling- Counseling services are available to all children of fallen special operators, beginning at a young age. By setting the expectation of a post secondary education, our students begin setting their academic and professional goals from a young age. SOWF's counselors are there to ensure that each student is on track to reach those goals.
Internship Program- SOWF connects our college students and recent graduates with internship opportunities to assist with building professional skills and confidence for job seeking. SOWF facilitates this by connecting corporate sponsors and supporting companies with students who are studying a relevant industry.
College Planning Conference (Operation EPIC)- Annual college admissions conference held at the University of Tampa for eligible high school students.
Birthday Cards and Invitations to Special Events- SOWF's communication with each student and family is ongoing and consistent.
