Ride at your own pace -
Follow the marked trail either alone, or with a group of friends!
Bring your own horse and join us for an (appx) 4 hour/half day marked ride through the beautiful Allegheny National Forest.
(50 miles south of Jamestown NY, 40 miles north of I-80)

This is not a scavenger hunt this year. We are focusing more on the simple enjoyment of trail riding!

There will be a GIANT Chinese auction, lots of door prizes, 50/50 and more at dinner!
Prizes awarded for the group or individual that brings in the biggest outside donation! Ask about brochures/forms for a donation campaign.

**Pre registration form will posted in the discussion. Not required, but appreciated. We can only take 250 riders, so sign up early!

~registration/check in between 9-11am. Last rider on the trail by noon, please!
You will be asked to sign a release form at registration

Kickers must be red ribboned.
Equine vaccinations not required but recommended.
Coggins required if you're crossing state line.

NOTE about the trails-
We lay the route out about 3-4 weeks in advance. It is the Allegheny Mountains. There's alot of ups and downs, some water crossings and you'll likely encounter some rocky areas. Mud is possible, depending how wet the spring is. We will not put our riders at risk! But this is not a groomed trail through a horse park. Ride with awareness.

100% profits benefit the
Special Operations Warrior Foundation. (
Note- the Special Operations Warrior Foundation is not the same as Wounded Warriors. They benefit the same cause but are different organizations.

Early Dinner provided after ride (starting appx 3pm)

$25.00 per rider minumum donation.

Please print and mail preregistration forms to Traci Wade. 863 Grange Hall Rd Tionesta PA 16353.

*Fully supported by the USDA Forest Service, the Allegheny National Forest, and the SOWF

SOWF has been there since day one of my bachelor's degree.

They have always made sure I got what I needed for my living expenses as well as my semester expenses. They not only have given me financial stability when I needed it the most, but also moral and emotional support. If it wasn’t for SOWF I wouldn’t be the professional teacher that I am today. For every success that I made and continue to make in my life, SOWF will be there at the top of the list for all of the thanks and recognition that they deserve for helping me carve my future.

SOWF provided me with the opportunity to be more engaged

in my studies rather than worrying about jobs and extracurricular work to pay for schooling. In addition, I was able to invest my time in leadership positions which have taught me so much as a person.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude,

knowing throughout the college admissions process, that the financial burden of college was no longer on our family. I am forever thankful for all the incredible things SOWF does for military personnel and their families. I am proud to be attending my dream school, the University of Chicago, because of all the Foundation does to honor those who have given their lives.
