Active Duty and Veteran Information
USSOCOM Care Coalition
In Aug 2005, the USSOCOM Care Coalition was established by our Commander (General Doug Brown) to track, support,
and advocate for special operations forces casualties from the Global War on Terror for life. We work with government
organizations such as the Department of Defense, Services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps), military health care
(TRICARE), and the Department of Veteran's Affairs to ensure the needs of casualties and families are supported by those
charged to provide services for casualties and their families. When a need doesn't fit into a government program the
USSOCOM Care Coalition looks to non-government organizations with missions/charters that align with the need of the casualty
or their family.
